Fields of Experience

 

Mr. Piggott has experience in the design, start up, operation, and troubleshooting of steam methane reformers and other hydrogen production plants, compression equipment, natural gas liquids plants, fluid bed reactors, and numerous other types of plants and equipment.

 

Specific areas of experience include:

 

  • Operation and troubleshooting of Pressure Swing Adsorption units and other hydrogen purification processes
  • Operation and troubleshooting of reciprocating compressors in a variety of gas services
  • Construction, commissioning, and start up of gas processing facilities
  • Distributed Control System and Programmable Logic Controller programming and troubleshooting
  • Developing and delivering training to operations staff (e.g. new operator training, project upgrade training, new facility training)
  • Preparation of commissioning and operating procedures;
  • Acquisition, review, analysis of plant data from electronic plant information databases
