Fields of Experience
Mr. Sachde has extensive experience in a wide range of chemical engineering industries and applications including oil refining, polymer fiber spinning, polymer processing, semiconductor manufacturing, uranium processing, and CO2 capture from power plant flue gas with amine solvents. Specific experience includes the following:
• Expertise in rate-based modeling methods and theory of gas absorption, including development of numerical methods and models.
• Significant experience in AspenPlus® process modeling software
• Expertise in techno-economic, cost-benefit, and decision/risk analysis approaches for project and technology evaluation. Includes specific project work on CO2 capture systems and uranium extraction from seawater.
• Experience as part of a new factory start-up and equipment commissioning team for a state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing facility.
